THE APARTMENT

​

Beccon is a district on the heights of Cruseilles which takes its name from the Château de Beccon, a 16th century fortified house. This private area cannot be visited.

Nowadays, Beccon is a residential area where a calm and rural setting is preserved.

Built in 2000, this log house is a typical Scandinavian building. The log is cut in half lengthwise and glued together with the core of the log on the outside. This technique prevents the log deforming over time. The logs are then stacked with a layer of insulating wool between each element to guarantee airtightness.

We are the lucky owners of this chalet since 2020. We are keen to preserve its authentic appearance, while bringing it up to date with decorative elements and current materials.

You can enjoy the apartment adjoining the chalet. This small 3-room apartment of approximately 50 m2 benefits from an amazing exposure. Its private terrace is facing South-West and will allowing you to enjoy the last rays of the sun for your summer evenings.

The apartment has all the necessary comfort to accommodate 4 people. The 2 bedrooms upstairs will allow you to sleep either in a 140x190 double bed or in one of the bunk beds. A cot for the little ones is also available on request.

The kitchen will allow you to cook as at home. You will find all the necessary equipment, but do not hesitate to inform us of anything missing. This is a kid friendly apartment where the childcare equipment is available : a cot, children's dishes, a high chair, a baby deckchair.

CRUSEILLES, SHOPS AND RESTAURANTS
​

Cruseilles is a dynamic village. The city center is a 10-minute walk away, on the right when leaving the chalet. There you will find a bakery, butcher, pharmacy, grocery store, and many others. There is a local market on Thursday and Sunday morning.

For more substantial shopping, a Carrefour Market is 3 minutes away by car from the chalet, at the exit of Cruseilles towards Annecy.

For fuel, you will find the Avia gas-station at the exit of Cruseilles towards Annecy.

Cruseilles has good restaurants. In the city center, you will find a Sushi-shop, pizzerias and various restaurants.

A little further on the heights of Cruseilles, the Château des Avenières will offer you a gourmet table at the “M” of Avenières, in a preserved natural setting with a breathtaking view.

Even further, the old town of Annecy will offer you a choice of restaurants and menus all as varied as each other.
